What is prayer

People use prayer everyday and don't even know it.  They cause or find themselves in bad times, poor health, jobless or needing to stay with a friend and wondering what went wrong.  How did this happen.  They even pray and wonder why isn't their prayer being answered.  It is.  An atheist has a better chance at having a better life or having his or her needs met than most religious people that pray.  Why?  I'll go into that as I write.

Getting off track for a moment, I want to say a little something about families/new families that are in or experiencing poverty or hard times.  Most parents are to blame as on this situation.  Hell, most of them or an example of this same type of lack or poor development.  Starting with kids having sex.  The parent are to blame for this.  Young boys have un-developed brains.  This is why they do idiotic things and laugh at it.  They think that they know either everything or enough and it's cool.  They think that it's cool to have a girlfriend while in that stage of junior high and/or high school.  They think it's cool to do foolish things and besides their friends are doing it so it's good enough for them.  You've heard a many times of parents saying to their child, if your friend jumps off a bridge, are you going to jump too.  Well, it's too late now.  These guys are now jumping off bridges and the young females are doing what the guys are doing.  These young un-develope boys, even guys that are in their 20's think it's cool to have a girlfriend regardless if they haven't developed the brain to financially take care of themselves.  They experiment with sex as if it's a toy.  Remember they're idiots.  Things will advance, be it through peer pressure or curious minds that young boys have.  As they experiment with sex and laugh about it while comparing with their friends, they are on the road to chaos.  Add drugs and you got a big problem brewing.  There's been a lot of talk/topics on TV about teen pregnancies and the results are babies born out of wedlock (kids having kids).  Now we have more un-developed minds that are un-educated that will add to street smarts.  Street smarts is a mentality that learns how to survive by lie, deciet, cheating, stealing and kill if it comes to that.  It gets worse.  Now you have un-educated young men trying to be family men and with little education, not enough money to support themselves let alone their family that's struggling to keep their family together.  This type of stress makes a guy hate his job, beat on his kids, his wife or girlfriend and even cheat on them.  With this type of stress, they leave.  Some advanced to killing their families.  They think that they can sweep it under the rug sorta speak by leaving that family or killing them and start all over again.  Their undeveloped brains won't let them figure out how to fix or rise above this problem they created.  So they try to walk away from this responsibilty knowing that's it's wrong.  It gets worse as time goes on.  Why do I bring this up.  Well this is an example of prayer.  These young men and women didn't ask for this let alone pray for it.  Oh yeah.  This is prayer. 

Prayer isn't putting your hands together, closing your eyes and asking God to help you out of what you put yourself into.  Prayer like God is omnipresence.  You breathe this.  It's holds the air you breathe to the earth and the earth to move around the sun.  It holds the universe and regulate the universe.  It's omnipresence.  Every little thing you do, you believe, you fear, you hold to be true for you is your prayer.  If you fear that you will lose your job or your family, your girlfriend, your money etc, this is a prayer.  Why do you think that you are where you are.  It didn't just happen out no where.  You've been fearing where you are for a long time but it's hidden under stress, pressure, struggle, nagging and fear itself.  You only see and feel your struggle.  This is why a positive person rises above poverty.  Instead of fearing or becoming idle or stuck like those people who look at bad things happening around them, they (the positive thinkers) see themselves in a better higher position.  They envision good things coming into their lives.  They are creative.  They feel creative which is healthy for your system.  They create positive situations into their lives.  They believe in a higher power.  They believe in good and they express a good attitude.  They feel betterment is at hand by feeling good about embracing this spiritual awareness.  This awareness is knowing something good will happen to you if you think and feel it.  They feel this awareness/goodness attracts good things.  This awareness is doing what you enjoy doing and feeling/believing only good comes out of whatever you do/invest in your health/self.  So, knowing that prayer is how we live/believe our daily lives to be (be it good or bad) is the result of whatever condition we're in or will experience (poor, poverty, good or bad) , is why we must change how we live/believe our lives to be.  So thinking/living/believing in having a beautiful life as if you'd like to really live it, you must expect it, and only then will you receive a beautiful life.
